Manchester Show a record breaker
The recent Manchester Sound & Vision Show has broken all records.
Figures just released by organiser Audio T showed attending companies were up 20%, exhibiting brands up 70%, visitors up 23% and overall sales up 44%.
"Numbers have been fantastic, absolutely delighted. People from London, Swansea, Cardiff and all over the UK" said a Wharfedale spokesman.
Other exhibitors were equally happy. Among a string of comments were: "Excellent show, very good quality customers. Saturday was absolutely phenomenal" (B&W). "Really surprised, fantastic for us. Solid footfall for two days" (Epson). "By far our best show in the UK so far" (Electrocompaniet).
